Before Ellen Pompeo finishes all her shopping, a fan approaches her with a bouquet of flowers.

Yeah right! Celebrities these days, they all dress up in their workout gear, but never actually break a sweat because they’re too busy tapping away on their BlackBerry. But Honestly, who hasn’t checked their BlackBerry messages while they were on the treadmill? No? I’m the only one?

Ellen Pompeo takes her dogs out for a walk around the park but looks more interested in her e-mail than her fuzzy companion. That’s what happens when you get a BlackBerry — everything around will soon have no meaning. That’s the BlackBerry, for ya. Gotta love it.

On Friday night, Ellen Pompeo was on The Late Show with David Letterman. She revealed to the audience that she sold “special slush” to baseball fans at Fenway Park in New York Boston when she was 15 years old as a part-time job!

I used to stand around saying, ‘I got the special slush over here. Special slush!’ I’d [usually] give them one pump but if they gave me a few extra bucks, I’d give them two pumps.

It’s a New York Fashion Week and celebrities from all around are flying to New York (where else?) for all the glitz, glam and free swag. Here’s a picture of Ellen Pompeo clutching nothing more than her BlackBerry Curve as she rushes in for the Rock & Republic show.
