I guess that Verizon held some type of BlackBerry Pearl launch party last night at the IAC building in NYC. Is it just me, or, didn’t the Verizon BlackBerry Pearl 8130 come out several months ago?

There was a party because the new pink 8130 is slightly improved from the other 8130s and now is the first one in pink….i think

there are no improvements between the pink 8130 and all the other 8130s…it’s just offered in a new color now at Verizon (and at Sprint, Bell and Alltel, in red)…and you are correct, the 8130 was released a few months ago…

8100= 1.3 megapixel camera, OS 4.2, internal SD memory slot, 2.5mm headset jack, GSM

8130= 2.0 megapixel camera, video capture capability, GPS, OS 4.3, external memory slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, improved keyboard and battery cover, CDMA
