On the Rock n’ Roll Hall of fame awards Jay-Z was using his Blackberry to read a speach he’d written (or more likely an email his publicist wrote) to induct Grand Master Flash. It appeared he was using a new 8800 based on the fact he was scrolling as he read from the middle of the device instead of the track wheels that were on the side. There were no good camera angles to be certian though.
