The big news in the BlackBerry world yesterday wasn’t so much about the celebrities that use them, but, about the official announcement of the the BlackBerry Curve, a.k.a, the BlackBerry every celebrity will want.

I am willing to bet that as soon as the BlackBerry Curve hits the street, every celebrity currently rocking a BlackBerry, Sidekick, Treo, or any other smartphone, will stand in line just to get one. I am sure that yesterday agents, publicists, and managers were inundated by numerous requests from the celebrities they work for asking for that new BlackBerry with the camera and the regular keyboard.

As you can probably tell, it has been a while since we’ve last posted here on Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings, however, due to popular demand, we are coming back.

Over the coming weeks we will work on a new design and start to post pictures much more frequently, however, in oder to do that we need your help. There are an awful lot of celebrities with BlackBerrys out their. Far too many for one person to to find all on their own so we are enlisting the Celebrity BlackBerry Sighting eyes of the masses to give us a hand.

The National Enquirer is reporting that the Reese Witherspoon’s recent filing for divorce from husband Ryan Phillippe, was spurred by her discovery of love letters found on Phillippe’s BlackBerry and actress Abbie Cornish.

What kind of idiot do you have to be to cheat on Reese Witherspoon and even if you are that kind of idiot, would leave the evidence of said cheating on your BlackBerry. That moves out of the idiot category right in the moron category.

Although Illinois Senator Barack Obama hasn’t officially announced that he is a candidate, all indications point towards him running for president in 08. Here you see him sending possible campaign slogans to his staff via his BlackBerry. Obama in O Eight… I smell a bumper sticker coming…

Someone should tell former “The OC” star, Mischa Barton, that it is bad manners to constantly play with your BlackBerry while having dinner with British royalty.

According to SFGate.com, Lord Freddie Windsor was repeatedly offended when Mischa kept playing with her BlackBerry at a dinner party at his folks place, Kenningston Palace, in London.

Just the other day Lindsay Lohan accuses Paris Hilton of hacking her BlackBerry, but, now she is saying that it wasn’t Paris after all.

I know when it comes to the B-List of Celebrities with very little talent, Lindsay and Paris are running neck and neck at the top of the list, however, when it comes to the kind of money that can be spent on lawyers, Lindsay can’t hang with Paris. Not even for a few minutes.

Granted, this website is about celebritys that use BlackBerrys, but, I couldn’t have come up with a better celebrity Blackberry story if I had made it up myself.

Check this… Lindsay Lohan’s people are saying that “someone stole the password to her BlackBerry and sent her friends “disgusting and very mean messages that everyone thought were coming from Lindsay.”

Oh wait.. It gets better. There is speculation that the BlackBerry Bandit may be none other than Lindsay Lohan nemesis, Paris Hilton.

That’s right, someone supposedly stole Lindsay Lohan’s password to her BlackBerry, sent off some hateful email as Lindsay, and they think the culprit is Paris Hilton.

I cannot wait to hear how this one ends.

In a Paul Fischer interview with Owen Wilson about his new movie “You, Me and Dupree”, Wilson admits to being somewhat of a BlackBerry addict, but not too much…

You know, I get criticized for being on my Blackberry especially from my girlfriends… you’re more interested in that than having a good conversation’. But, I will say, in my defense, that I feel like I do sometimes write down good ideas or funny stuff, ideas for scenes and stuff. But, sometimes I’m just on there just bullshiting.

Rising LPGA golf Star Morgan Pressel is certified BlackBerry addict. According to a Free Press article by Chris Silva, Pressel, the youngest card carrying member of the LPGA, has her BlackBerry attached to her hip while on the putting green.

The moment she stepped off the putting green, Morgan Pressel reached for the Blackberry attached to her belt and her right thumb immediately got busy. It toggled up and down, pointing and clicking, as she checked her e-mail and sent text messages to friends and family. She repeated the action over and over for the next 15 minutes, not once taking her eyes off the small screen as she gave an interview and signed autographs.

I think that it is safe to say that Morgan Pressel has a touch of BlackBerryTitus…
