Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings
Hello all Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings readers and happy Monday! We know we promised that the week of SYOS will start today. Unfortunately, we currently have some technical difficulties and we’re still trying to work out a few things. Therefore, SYOS will be postponed till further notice. Sorry to keep you all waiting. You guys have been too good to us; always there to send in sightings and informing us about sighting news. In return, we would like to shine the celebrity spotlight onto you and dedicate a whole week called Sight Your Own Sightings (SYOS). Send in your very own celebrity-style paparazzi shot of yourself and in the week of August 18th - 22nd, we will post your photo on Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings! We’ll then allow other readers to vote for their favorite reader picture. When the voting has stopped, the CBBS reader with the highest votes will win a prize courtesy of RIMarkable. We thought this will be a fun way to show off your favorite gadget and to imitate your favorite celebrity. Deadline to send in your photo is on August 15th.
Submit all your sightings to CBBS.SYOS@gmail.com. Please keep all photo sizes to a maximum width of 450px and under 45kb in size. Please note that any photo that’s too large will be cropped and resized to fit our measurements. Please also provide us with your name, age and your location.
Remember that this is a family site. We have the right to decline the use of any photo we find inappropriate or offensive. Other than that, be creative and have fun!

To all of our American readers, Happy Independence Day! We didn’t write a post for Canada Day a few days ago because we were a tad busy with other commitments (even though we have a Canadian working at Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings! — I’m ashamed). But hey, what better way to celebrate a birthday than with the accompaniment of everyone else, right? So, Happy (belated) Canada Day and Happy Fourth of July! Let the (BlackBerry Bold) fireworks begin!

You may have had some trouble logging onto Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings yesterday. But if you’re reading this, you can see that everything is back up and running smoothly. We’ve had some server issues and after a quick (and necessary) battery pull, things are working again. Hopefully the big BlackBerry Boss won’t lag anymore. Thanks for your patience.
