As many of you regular visitors already know, Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings has undergone some changes recently after a server crash of epic proportions. To make a long story short we have new host and a new sever with legs behind it.
Now that we aren’t chasing our tails just trying to make sure that CBS is up and running, we figure that it is a good time to add some coolness to the site. We’ve got a few ideas of our own that we want to implement, but, before we do anything, we wanted to pose this question to the regular readers, commentators, and visitors sending in pictures everyday of their favorite celebrities spotted with BlackBerry devices.
What do you want to see on Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings?
Send us in your suggestions. Let us know how we can improve the site. Although we may not be able to implement every tip, suggestion, and idea, we definitely want your input. The comment section is open and they are now threaded so you can reply to other people’s comments.

you should have like a section under each post that specifically points out what kind of blackberry whoever is using. Also, make it so that you can search by blackberry, so lets say I have a blackberry bold, when I click blackberry bold it shows all the celebrities that have a bold….

It would be great if someone could enter their e-mail address and pick certain celebrities and get email updates when a new posting of that celebrity is posted. For example I love to see stuff about Sarah Michelle Gellar and would love all new postings of her to be e-mailed to me or at least a e-mail saying check out a new SMG posting. : )
Yeah this is actually a really good idea! You could do the same type of thing by blackberry type as well. So lets say im interested in everyone who has a bb tour….. as soon as a new one comes up WHAM!!!! its in my inbox! Have like a signup thing called “CBS Alerts” or something….

How about an improved “Submit a Pic” page? It would be great to preview the post before submitting it. Also, maybe a way to track your submissions. I know I submitted a photo days ago of Ashley Tisdale, and it never showed up.
It would be great to have a section, perhaps to the left of the submissions that would show the title of the BlackBerry that’s being used and beneath it, rows of small pictures of the celebrities who carry the device. The tiny (say 95×95) image would be a link to the celebrity’s page of sightings. Below the image, the name of the celebrity would appear as well.
My only complaint about the sight is the layout!
More sightings and credit to the people who submitted the photo.
How about more celebrities who AREN’T on The Hills? Might as well call this The Hills BlackBerry Sightings with a Dash of Lindsay and Miley.

Was the question who you wanted to see more of? No, it’s about the site. I like it the way it is. Maybe just trying to add the old post back. The whole having the blackberry notice might be hard since it’s not easy to always tell who has what. Also giving credit to peole to send in the pics is stupid. I’m sure more than 1 person sends in the same picture. I don’t care to see that annie, chris and donny getting credit for sending in the sell the same picture. I would like to see more interaction with the fans or something.

I love the site the way it is… it may be a good idea to separate the photos for what Blackberry the celebrities use.

Would like to see more update throughout the day! And more urban celebrities, its always nice to see Rihanna and Amber Rose!
You should put up more contest. And it should be for good stuff like a credit for a game or an app at the app store at Crackberry.com. Maybe for Christmas coming up, a contest for one of the best blackberry’s thats coming out like the Storm 2 or the new Curve. Put up video on blackberry users. And also have like a news section where you give updates on the new blackberry’s coming out and new info about them. I know thats stepping into crackberry territory but still…a little info is nice to see. Oh, and you can also post pictures of our non-celebs too, like have a list for members who send in REALLY nice pictures of them with a blackberry and keep it on a link on the page somewhere.
Also have a blackberry picture of the week for the best celebrity blackberry picture and have it so us members can vote for picture of the week too.
I would love to see more pictures of celebrities that are not from The Hills or Disney channel…like, Kanye, Britney, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, sports stars, The Olsen Twins. I know these pictures may be a little harder to find, but thats why the “submit a pic” option is good. I LOVE this website!

I definitely think that the person who submitted the picture should get credit for doing so.

Oh, I should add that there are two ways I can think of to be fair about giving credit. Either give credit to the first user who submitted it, or credit all of the people who submitted it. Maybe the credit wouldn’t appear on the main page, but instead only show up after you click the link that article… I.e. the same page that we leave comments on.
Also, how about more men? Look at that big huge list of celebrities on the left. There are only 5 or 6 guys on there!
